Quick Bid can accommodate both Imperial and Metric Units of Measure (UOM). When a new database is created, choose which measurement to use. All 'UOM' boxes are based on this Bid-level setting.
Imperial and Metric Projects/Bids cannot exist in the same database. If you are using the On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid interactively, you must separate your On-Screen Takeoff Projects into separate Metric and Imperial databases (remember, you connect one OST database to one QB database only!).
By default, new databases are created in Imperial Measure Mode.
