The Cursor Control toolbar contains only three buttons but you use them very often.

Cursor controls

ButtonNameDescription/What it does or how it is used
Zoom buttonZoom to Region ToolClick this tool then draw a box within the Takeoff Window - the program zooms to that box.
Pan tool buttonPan ToolClick to move the Plan within the Takeoff Window - available when the page is not zoomed to fit the screen. When you use the Pan Tool the view within the Pan Indicator/Control changes according to the current view within the Takeoff Window.
Magnifier tool buttonMagnifier ToolUse the Magnifier for viewing details without changing the zoom on the current Page - handy for reading small print such as the scale on a page.

Scroll Wheel Functions

On the Takeoff Tab when you are focused on the Takeoff Window (where your Plan takeoffs and annotations are displayed):

  • Hold down the <Ctrl> key and then scroll the mouse wheel up/down to Zoom in/out on the Plan
  • Hold down the <Alt> key and scroll the mouse wheel up/down to move/pan the Plan vertically (up/down)
  • Hold down the <Shift> key and scroll the mouse wheel to move/pan the Plan horizontally (left/right)

It may be possible to configure your particular mouse to perform other functions (such as assigning a tilt-scroll function) but that functionality is not configured or supported by the program.
