  • Scale Tools
  • Rotate and Flip (Takeoff and Plan)
  • Print
  • Bid Areas-Typical Areas Tools
  • Image Legend Tools

Takeoff Window Main Toolbar

Each toolbar is detailed in the articles that follow.

Most users spend a lot of time on the Takeoff Tab using these tools so it is a good idea to learn about the toolbars and tools covered in the next few articles.

Above the Main Toolbar are your Takeoff Window tabs - there is a new Tab added (up to 10) for each separate docked Takeoff Window open in the current Bid. If you undock a Takeoff Window its Tab is undocked along with the window.

The Main Toolbar automatically uses enough vertical space to display all buttons based on the width of the Takeoff window. You can move different sections of the main toolbar to their own row or swap positions. The Main Toolbar itself cannot be undocked because it is part of the Takeoff window.

Some buttons on the Main Toolbar are disabled until you draw takeoff or select some existing takeoff. Others only become available after you perform some other action. For example the undo button becomes active/available when you delete a piece of takeoff or an Annotation.

Resetting Toolbars

To restore the Main Toolbar to default just right-click anywhere on the Toolbar and select "Reset Toolbar".
