As you work through your Jobs, there will come a time when you determine you simply don’t need to see a Job in PlanSwift anymore. You can easily delete a Job and then restore it if you change your mind.

Deleting a Job

To delete a Job:

  • On the PlanSwift or Home Tab, click Open
  • In the Open Job dialog box, locate the job you want to delete and select it
  • Click the Delete button in the Open Job dialog box’s ribbon bar

When the Warning prompt opens, review it to ensure you are deleting the correct job

  • Click Yes

In the Warning box, confirm that you want to delete this Job

The Job’s data folder is moved to the Windows(r) Recycle Bin.

Restoring a Deleted Job

After you delete a Job, if you decide you need, you can restore it from the Windows Recycle Bin, assuming you have not emptied it, of course.

  • Open the Windows Recycle Bin
  • Locate the Job’s folder and click on it
  • Restore by right-clicking and selecting “Restore”
    • or Click the Restore the selected items button in the ribbon bar
