Improvements



  • Improved Net Areas Accuracy:
    • Made them easier to manipulate
    • Draw them more accurately on slanted rooms
    • Match the shape of rooms better
    • Go "wall to wall" on rooms

Please note the before and after results for each of the darker colored net areas (colored darker for emphasis).

Before the update, Takeoff Boost did not draw the net area to the walls on the plans

Notice, because of the skewed walls, Takeoff Boost did not fill in the net area "to the walls" properly, causing a significant shortage in area Results. 		   After the update, Takeoff Boost successfully took off the net area

After the update, the takeoff is much more correct.
  Before the update, Takeoff Boost did not draw the net area to the walls on the plans

Again, many of the small net areas are not drawn "to the wall".		   After the update, Takeoff Boost successfully took off the net area

All these minor adjustments would have taken you valuable time to correct before this update.

Even small changes add up.		   After the update, Takeoff Boost successfully took off the net area

After the update, the area takeoff is cleaner and drawn to the walls much more accurately.

These gridded areas would have likely included perimeter and tile counts as Results which would be affected by incorrect takeoff.		 After the update, Takeoff Boost successfully took off the net area

After the update, not only are the net area results more accurate, but other results such as perimeter and tile count are more accurate, too.
