ConstructConnect Takeoff crashes when you try to add plans to any Plan Set.
Discussion
With the release of 2.4.00.00 we changed to a more flexible PDF rendering technology however that technology requires some updated Windows components that may be missing from your machine. These components are free to all Windows users but do require a separate (for now) download and installation.
Resolution
You need to be an administrator on your computer to complete the following installation; please contact your IT department for assistance.
To install the missing component visit Microsoft's site: https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/.
On this page scroll to the bottom and expand the "Other Tools and Frameworks" section.
You want the "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019" - select either x64 or x86 based on your operating system.
Download the appropriate installer the double-click it to install the required components.
You may be required to restart your computer to complete the update.
Contact your IT department before installing any updates.
