Issue

On-Screen Takeoff is designed to scroll left and right when you press the <Shift> key on the keyboard, and roll the mouse wheel.

On occasion a use may report that when they try the left/right scroll, their On-Screen Takeoff is scrolling diagonally.

Discussion

This is caused by conflicting mouse drivers. Although On Center does support hardware, we can offer the following as a solution.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you (or your IT person):

• Browse to Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel
• Locate the different mouse drivers (example Microsoft IntelliMouse version 6.1.x or 6.2.x) and uninstall all of them
• Reboot PC
• Once the drivers are uninstalled, install the latest drivers provided for your mouse (contact the manufacturer of your hardware for more information)
• Usually requires another reboot

Once this is done, the software should scroll properly.
