The Beta Search page filters allow you to narrow down your search for projects and companies so you can find exactly what you are looking for. The filters are different depending on if you are search for projects (Project tab is selected) or companies (Companies tab is selected).
Project Filters
Keyword Search
Find projects or companies by entering relevant keywords or phrases into the search bar on the Search page.

Project Properties
Refine your search by focusing on specific types of projects within our system. You can select one or multiple of the available options to narrow down your results further:
Watch List Projects: Displays only projects you have starred and added to your Watch List.
For more information on Watch List, see Working with Your Watch List
New Projects: Displays only projects that have been added to our system within the last 48 hours. New projects are denoted by an N in the Recent column in your search results.
Updated Projects: Displays only projects that have been updated within the last 48 hours. Updated projects are denoted by a U in the Recent column in your search results.
Include Hidden Projects: Reveals projects that you have selected to hide from your search results.

Project Stage
Filter by the stage a project is in. Select one of the 4 high level stages or expand them to choose more specific parts of each stage:
Planning: All early-stage projects prior to a bid being submitted (concept to submission of completed drawings).

Conceptual: Projects without an architect, awaiting approvals or finding, or in master planning

Design: Projects with an architect that include conceptual, schematic, and design development drawings.

Final Planning: Projects in the last planning stage before bidding or construction, including those preparing for a rebid.

Pre-Construction/Negotiated:
Bidding: Active projects for contractors seeking new opportunities, including design-build.

GC Bidding

Sub-Bidding
Post-Bid: Any project after the close of an opportunity, and includes information about project results, awarded bids, and project start and end dates.

Canceled: Projects that have been canceled by the project owner.

Project Location
Search within a specific geographical location with any of the drop-down options listed below:
Subscription’s geographical area (default): Defaults to the region that you have access to (based on your subscription plan).
Profile Service Area: Based on the counties you selected when setting up your profile.
City or Postal Code: Enter city or postal code in the field to search that region. Select a radius from the dropdown to expand your search around the center point of the city or postal code you entered.
Counties or States/Provinces: Opens a modal with complete list of US states and Canadian provinces and a geographical map. Expand States/Provinces to view counties within them. Zoom in or out of the map to view the geographical areas you are interested in. Select the checkbox next to a state/province or county to include it in your search.
Note: Selecting a state/province automatically selects all counties within it.
Project Category
Filter by the high-level category of a project. Choose between Civil projects (Bridges, Roads, Sewer, etc.) or General projects (Commercial, Governmental, Medical, etc.).
Expand the dropdown for Civil or General to select the specific project categories you want to search for.
Project Type
Filter by the specific type of work involved in a project. (Demolition, Paving, Renovation, etc.)
Sector
Refine your search to see projects in the private sector or various levels of the public sector. The options for this filter are:

Last Updated
Find projects that have been updated in a given time frame. Open the dropdown in the filter to enter a custom date range or select one of the preset date ranges:

Bid Date

Trade
Refine your project search by selecting specific trades along with their corresponding CSI (Construction Specifications Institute) codes.
Trade Divisions and Sections
The trade filter displays a list of all trade divisions each with their correlating CSI code.
Ex: Division 03 - Concrete
Expand a trade division to see the trade sections within it, each with their corresponding CSI code. These sections provide more detailed breakdown of the work involved in a trade.
Some trade sections can be expanded further to reveal additional trade selections. These represent even more specific aspects of the trade.
Selecting a Trade
Select all trades
Select the checkbox next to the label “Trade Division” at the top of the filter. This will automatically select all trade divisions and their associated sections.
To exclude specific trades from your search, deselect the checkbox next to the ones you don’t want to include.

Select the checkbox next to any selection to include it in your search
Note: selecting the checkbox for a trade division will automatically include all of the trade sections within that division.
Trade Code Count
The number of trades in any given trade division or section is displayed in the trade code count column.
Clear Filter
Click “Clear All” at the bottom of the filter to reset your filter and start from scratch.
Project Value
Set a range for the value of a project to see projects that align with your business' financial needs.
Define the value range with the sliding scale or by manually entering values into the Minimum and Maximum fields.
To include projects in your results that don’t have a listed project value, select the checkbox next to “Show projects without value”. This can ensure that you don’t miss any projects that may be within your project value range even if the project value wasn’t listed.

Select from the following types of documents that you would like to search for within projects:

Project Section
Filter projects with the following 4 broad categories of construction work:
General Building: Projects involving the construction of buildings for residential, commercial, or institutional use.
Heavy and Highway: Projects related to infrastructure and large-scale civil engineering.
Specialty Trades: Projects that involve specialized trades and skills.
Water and Sewer: Projects related to water distribution, sewage systems, and utility infrastructure.
Contracting Method
Narrow your search results with the options below based on the approach used to select and engage contractors and subcontractors for a project:
Bidding As Prime: Contractors bid to be the primary contractor responsible for the entire project.
Negotiated GC/CM: GC or CM is selected through a negotiated process allowing for more collaboration and flexibility.
Pre-Qual/Invited GC: GCs must pre-qualify based on specific criteria before being invited to submit bids.
CM/CM-at-Risk to GC: CM assumes the risk of delivering the project within a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) and acts as the GC during construction.
Open GC Bidding: Open bidding process where any qualified GC can submit a bid.
Pre-Qual/Invited Sub: Subcontractors are prequalified and invited to submit bids, ensuring that only capable subcontractors are involved.
CM/CM-at-Risk to Sub: CC assumes the risk of delivering the project within a guaranteed maximum price and acts as the GC during construction.
Open Sub Bidding: Open bidding process for subcontractors, allowing any qualified subcontractor to submit a bid for specific parts of the project.
Certifications
Refine your search results based on the specific business certifications below:
Minority Business Enterprise (MBE): Business is at least 51% minority-owned and controlled.
Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE): Business is at least 51% women-owned and controlled.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE): Business is at least 51% owned and controlled by socially and economically and socially disadvantaged individuals.
Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE): Business is at least 51% owned and controlled by disabled veterans.
Historically Underutilized Business (HUB): Business is located in a historically underutilized area and at least 51% owned and controlled by historically underutilized groups.
Small Business Enterprise (SBE): Business meets specific size criteria as defined by regulatory agencies and is certified as a small business.
Floors (Coming Soon)
Filter projects by the number of floors above or below grade.
Enter a range of floors above grade and below grade using the Minimum and Maximum fields.
Example: To find projects with 1-3 floors above grade and 0-5 floors below grade, enter the below into the fields in the filter:

What does above grade and below grade mean?
Above grade: The number of floors above ground level.
Below grade: The number of floors below ground level.

What is a pre-bid meeting?
A pre-bid meeting is an informational session where project details are explained and questions are addressed. This meeting levels the playing field for prospective bidders by giving everyone access to the same information.

Companies Filters
Company Location
