There is an Image Legend toolbar on the main toolbar at the top of the Takeoff tab that is enabled (active) when the Image Legend is displayed and selected on a page. See the previous article for information about adding the Image Legend to a Page.
Updating the Legend Using the Toolbar
Using this toolbar you can change or update any of the current legend preferences including:
- Font
- Font size
- Text color
- Background color
- Application of bold italics or underline
Changes take effect immediately and the Bid Image Settings dialog is updated to match.
Changes made from this toolbar apply only to the current Page (or Takeoff Window) unless you click the Apply to all pages box in the Bid Image Settings dialog.
Activating the Image Legend toolbar
When the Image Legend is displayed but not selected the legend toolbar is greyed-out (inactive).
To enable the toolbar
- Click the Select tool
- Click on the Image legend "box" displayed on the canvas
Now the toolbar is now enabled and you can make changes to how the Image Legend looks.
