The Fonts/Colors options specify the default Font and Color used when drawing Annotation.



  • Click Tools > Options
  • Then, click on the Fonts/Colors tab


On-Screen Takeoff options dialog box open to the Fonts/Colors tab


Highlight the item to modify (Text, Area Label, Image Legend and so on).


Click the Change Font or Change Color button(s) to set defaults...

Click the Change Font button, a Font dialog opens. From here, select the type, style and size of the font for the selected object.

Click the Change Color button, the Color dialog opens. From here, select the default color of the selected font or object.

AutoNaming Highlight

Change Color

Allows you to set the color Auto Name uses to highlight the regions of the drawing where you set the Sheet No. and Sheet Name location.

Transparency

Allows you to adjust how transparent or opaque the label box Auto Name shows where you set the Sheet No. and Sheet Name location.



Note


These default settings only affect new Annotations, they won't affect any Annotations you've already drawn. If you want to change an existing Annotation, you just right-click it on the Image Window.


For "Dimension Lines", setting the color changes the color of the text label, not the line itself - Dimension Lines are always black.
