Issue
Your Digitizer or Scale button is disabled. You may see an error message, but often, the options are just not available.
Resolution
Check Your License
First, make sure your PlanSwift software is activated. You may get this message even after you have purchased because the system will automatically log you off every 90 days. Go ahead and click activate and make sure you have an internet connection. If you don't have an internet connection, you will need a manual activation code.
Expired or Faulting Plugin Issue
This issue can also be caused by plugin having problems or an expired plugin.
- Go to your Settings tab
- Click on Plugin Manager - the Plugin Manager opens
- Select the expired or problematic Plugin you want to delete
- While still on the Settings tab, select Interface
- Check the Show Types Tab in Templates Screen option
- Next, click on the Reports tab
- Select ACS Customer Reports
- Click Delete
- Next, click on the Templates tab
- Select and delete ACS Custom Types and the ACS Template.Samples
- Next, click on the Lists tab
- Delete the ACS Customs Lists
- Lastly, click on the Estimating tab
- Delete the ACS views
- Now, Restart PlanSwift
