If you are using the Concrete, All Trades, or General Contractor Trade Database, you'll find an Item called "Rebar"

  • Duplicate the "Rebar by Tons" in Master Items
  • Rename the description to "Rebar by Pounds" and change anything else applicable (cost codes...etc.)
  • Go to the Sizing tab
  • Size method Change to "Styles"
  • Set Container to "LBS"

Next, in the Units/Per we need to divide the LBS per foot of rebar by 1 (We used Google to find out how much rebar weighs per LF per #; #4 rebar is .668 LBS PER FOOT, so "1 divided by .668" = 1.497005988).

  • Enter "1.497" in the Units/Per for #4 Rebar
