The Continue With feature allows you to quickly add one or more new sections to an existing area, linear, segment, or count takeoff on a different page (or pages) and keep a running total of the measurements.
Launching Continue With from the Pages, Bookmarks window
In the Pages, Bookmarks window,
- Hover over a takeoff (Tile Floor, for example) that is on a different page until the green Continue With button appears
- Click on the green button - this turns on the Digitizer Record button
- Perform the takeoff on the A1.2 Floor Plan
The new Floor Tile takeoff section now also appears on the A1.2 Floor Plan. Note that the first Floor Tile takeoff section measures 830.0 square feet and the second one measures 127.3 square feet.
Launching Continue With from the Context Menu
- Right-click on any existing takeoff item and selecting Continue With, or
- Right-click anywhere on a page and selecting Continue With
Either of these opens the Continue With window.
- Click on the takeoff item (Tile Floor)
- Click on Ok to turn on Digitizer Record so that you can perform a new section takeoff
