Disconnecting does not break the link between PlanSwift and Excel, it just pauses the communication between the programs. Use Unlink to severe the connection completely.

You can sever the connection between a PlanSwift Job and a linked Excel Workbook using the Unlink button.

The Unlink button on the Planswift Ribbon-bar Tab can also be used if you accidentally link two workbooks to one PlanSwift job.

With both programs running,

  • Open the Job and workbook that are currently connected/linked
  • In Excel, on the PlanSwift tab of the ribbon bar, click Unlink

You are asked to confirm twice. Once you confirm, all cells are unlinked, although their values remain in the Excel spreadsheet.
