PlanSwift provides shortcuts for Zooming, Panning, and Navigating Pages

Zooming

PlanSwift zoom buttons

Four zoom commands are available from the Zoom/Pan group on the Home tab ribbon-bar. PlanSwift provides several ways of invoking these commands:

  • Click on Zoom (1), then select an area of the page by clicking and dragging the cursor over an area of the page zooms in to display the selected region.
    • An alternate way of zooming into a selected area is to press the F10 function key and drag over the area with the mouse.
  • Click on Fit Page (2) displays the entire plan page in the viewing window and pans the image so that the image is centered in the viewing window.
    • An alternate way of fitting the page to the window is to press the F7 Function key.
  • Click on Zoom In (3) zooms in about 30% each time it is clicked on.
    • A second way of zooming in is to use the mouse wheel.
    • A third way is to press the number pad's + (plus) key. The number pad zoom functions are smoother and only zoom in or out about 10%.
  • Click on Zoom Out (4) zooms out about 30% each time it is clicked on.
    • A second way of zooming out is to use the mouse wheel
    • A third way is to press the number pad's - (minus) key.

Panning

The Pan option can be initiated in three ways:

  • Click on the Pan (1) button on the Zoom/Pan group on the Home tab ribbon-bar and drag with the left mouse button held down.

  • Click and hold the right mouse button while dragging. This automatically highlights the Pan button on the Main ribbon-bar menu as you drag to pan the image.
  • Press the E, D, F, and S keyboard keys to scroll up, down, left, and right, respectively.

Navigating Pages

The Navigate arrows options are available from the Navigate group on the Home tab ribbon-bar.

PlanSwift Page Navigation buttons (back and forward)

To navigate from page to page:

  • The left navigation arrow (1) opens the previous page.
    • An alternate way of moving to the previous page is the Pg Up keyboard key.
  • The right navigation arrow (2) opens the next page.
    • An alternate way of moving to the next page is the Pg Dn keyboard key.
