In Digital Production Control mode there are eight Program Tabs:
- Projects - a list of all the projects you are working on in On-Screen Takeoff/Digital Production Control
- Takeoff - where you see your plans, takeoff, and set percents based on labor cost codes, also used for using Line Out Mode (see Related Articles)
- Budget - Used to track a project's budget.
- Timecard - Used to record the labor hours used to perform work percented on the Takeoff Tab
- Payroll Recap - Used to review previous time sheets
- Notes - Used to enter notes for the project for communication between the office and the field.
- Project Express - a utility to send/receive projects, directly through the software.
- Resources and Trending - Resources is a welcome page that shows you helpful information to help you get familiar with On-Screen Takeoff (this knowledge base). Trending provides access to the customer portal and company and product news.
Each Tab provides access to different aspects of a project and is discussed in detail in the articles that follow.
Foremen: you will do most of your work in the Takeoff, Timecard, and Project Express Tabs.
Status Bar
At the bottom of the program is the Status Bar.
Notice the Budgeted (B) and Remaining (R) hours fields displayed in the Status Bar when you select one or more objects? These are very important to planning your daily work. We explain them in detail in Related Articles.
