Source Portal lets architects and other project sources submit new project information directly to ConstructConnect. After you submit a project, the ConstructConnect team reviews it before it goes live.
Start a new submission
- Go to My Company Projects.
- Click Submit Project in the top right corner.
The submission opens in a four step window.
Step 1: Enter project details
Enter the core information for the project.
- Project Name: Enter the full project name as you want it to appear in ConstructConnect.
- Project Type: Select the type of work, such as new construction, renovation, demolition, or site work. You can select more than one type if needed.
- Location / Address: Enter the project address, then choose the correct address from the suggestions.
- Project Value: Enter the estimated or known dollar value.
- Bid Date: Enter the bid due date, if one is available.
- Description: Describe the project scope in clear, plain language.
Click Next to continue.
Step 2: Check for duplicates
Before a new project is created, Source Portal checks whether a similar project already exists.
- If no duplicate is found, continue to the next step.
- If a possible match is found, compare the existing project to your submission.
If the existing record is your project, use that project instead of creating a duplicate. If the project is different, continue with the new submission.
Step 3: Upload documents
You can attach plans, specifications, and other supporting files during submission. This step is optional, so you can continue even if your documents are not ready yet.
Step 4: Review and submit
- Review the information you entered.
- Use Back if you need to make changes.
- Click Submit when everything looks correct.
After you submit, the project appears in your project list with a Processing status.
What happens next
Your submission is sent to ConstructConnect for review. Once it is processed and approved, the project can move through review and publication in the normal workflow.
