Please review the System Requirements and Installation Instructions while your product is downloading.
If you are not a System Administrator and/or if your company uses a shared SQL database, contact your IT Department before installing any update.
Getting Started
Installing and Setting Up Your Takeoff Account
Locate the installer file you downloaded above and double-click it. Follow the instructions above for help with installation.
Next, you’ll need to log into On-Screen Takeoff.
When your company purchased On-Screen Takeoff, your Admin was sent an e-mail, which included a link to this page, and login instructions for our User Management Portal.
If you are the Admin, log into the User Management Portal to invite users and assign licenses (the Admin does not need to install On-Screen Takeoff or even be licensed for it, if they don’t use the program).
Your Company’s Admin is responsible for inviting you to join your Organization as a Takeoff User and assigning you an appropriate license.
If you’ve been invited by your Org admin:
- Click the link in the e-mail to register for your ConstructConnect Platform account (you’ll use it to log into On-Screen Takeoff and the Platform apps). If you are on this page, you probably already completed that step, if you haven’t been invited, contact your Organization’s admin or your manager for help.
- Use the link above to download and install On-Screen Takeoff
- Login with the credentials you created for the ConstructConnect Platform

- We recommend that you check with your network administrator or IT department before downloading and installing any software or updates. Once installed, any database(s) accessed in this version cannot be accessed by users of prior versions.
- Users of SQL databases must advise their SQL Administrator before installing this upgrade - only an SQL "dbowner" can upgrade SQL databases.
- After installing On-Screen Takeoff, you log in to activate your license and access the program.
