What’s Happening?

I received an e-mail from ConstructConnect telling me that my account is eligible for an upgrade to the newest version of On-Screen Takeoff that requires logging in with my e-mail address.

What am I supposed to do?

Why This Upgrade is Important

Congratulations! You are going to love this upgrade. Why?

Here's What You Need To Do

You've already completed two steps and may not know it:

  1. You receive the upgrade email - which means your account is ready to migrate, and
  2. You’re reading this article

Now, here are a couple of other things you’ll need to do to prepare for this upgrade.

Be on the lookout for two more emails from ConstructConnect are on their way. Watch for them; you'll need both.

1 Set up Your Account

The first email is an invitation from your Organization Admin that welcomes you to ConstructConnect and has a link to create your account (your account is already set up, you just need to verify it).

  • Click the link in the e-mail, verify your email, and set a password.

Before you accept an invitation, if you have been using ConstructConnect Bid Center, you must share your Projects with your Company’s Admin. See: Moving your Bid Center projects to your new ConstructConnect organization.

2. Download and Install the Update

The second email includes the download link for On-Screen Takeoff.

  • Click that link to install the new version over your current one. (If you ever want to download the current version of On-Screen Takeoff, you can visit the Product Information and Download Page.

3. Launch and Log in

Once you've installed the new version, just launch On-Screen Takeoff and log in with your email and password. Your subscription and features will be active and ready to go.

If you don’t receive these e-mails, verify with your organization’s administrator that they have invited you.

If you only see one of the two emails, or your admin confirms they’ve invited you, check your spam folder, they may have landed there.

If you use Quick Bid, you’ll still access and license it with a license key/server code, nothing is changing for Quick Bid, yet. That’s planned for later this year.
